Are there special technical requirements that must be met to access the virtual conference portal?
Preferred browsers are Chrome, Edge and Mozilla Firefox (latest versions!).
Please make sure you have a stable internet connection and ideally are not using WiFi.
How do I log on to the virtual conference?
Requirements:
- you need to be registered for the congress
- your account needs to be activated (account activation e-mail)
- and the congress fee needs to be paid in advance.
You can log in with your e-mail address and the password you selected for yourself on the congress website schizophrenianet.eu in the section "My congress".
You will find the direct link to the virtual conference portal on the homepage of the congress website. Live-streams und on-demand content will only be visible for registered delegates after login.
If you have forgotten your password, please click on “Reset password”.
Can I register during the virtual conference, after it has started?
Yes, “on-site” registrations are possible. Please go to the congress website, create an account, process your registration and pay your fee by credit card.
As soon as we have received the payment you will get access to the congress portal.
What happens if my registration fees are not fully paid?
You will not be able to access the virtual congress. So please make sure to check in your account whether your registration is fully paid before the congress starts.
If you did not pay your registration fee yet: Please log in to your account at the congress website schizophrenianet.eu in section “My Congress” with your e-mail address and your password and go to “Bookings”. The outstanding amount needs to be paid by credit card in order to get access to the congress portal.
How can I access and view sessions given the time zone difference?
The sessions will be recorded and most of them will be available for registered users as on-demand viewing during the live congress as well as after the congress has ended.
Will I be able to ask questions during a live session?
Yes, the Q&A tool will give you the opportunity to ask questions during live sessions. The chairperson of the session will choose and forward the questions to the respective speaker if possible and time allowing.
Please note that the question-and-answer tool is only available during live sessions.
Where can I change the image quality of the live streams?
If the lectures in the live stream are blurred, you can manually change the image quality. You will find the corresponding button in the lower right corner of the video.
Will sessions be available on-demand after the online live conference?
Yes. Most of the sessions will be available for registered users as on-demand viewing after the congress for three months.
Has the virtual ECSR been CME accredited?
Yes. The Medical Association of North Rhine has accredited ECSR 2021 with 18 CME credits. The breakdown is as follows:
- 23rd September: 3 CME credits per half day, 6 CME credits per full day;
- 24th September: 3 CME credits per half day, 6 CME credits per full day;
- 25th September: 3 CME credits per half day, 6 CME credits per full day
How will I be able to claim my CME certificate or a certificate of attendance?
In order to receive a CME certificate or certificate of attendance you are kindly requested to evaluate the congress. The respective questionnaires will be made available via your congress account starting on the 27th September 2021.
The Medical Association of North Rhine requests that you provide detailed feedback for each half day that you have attended the live online conference for.
Please use the following steps to receive your CME-certificates from the Medical Association of North Rhine:
- Log into your congress account "My congress" and click on "Congress evaluation"
- You will be asked to evaluate each half day that you have attend the live sessions for. Please complete the questionnaire
- Download your CME-certificate and/or certificate of attendance
German participants are asked to include their EFN number at the end of the evaluation process. This enables us to submit the gained number of CME-credits directly to the Medical Association of North Rhine.
If you are a speaker and/or chair and would like to claim CME-credits for the session you are actively participating in, it will be necessary to open the live stream on the congressportal in addition to the zoom link.
Is there a deadline to claim CME credits?
Yes. CME-certificates can only be claimed between 27th September and 20th October 2021. After this date, no certificates may be issued.
